Dr. Joseph Palakeel
Born in Kerala, India in 1959 and ordained priest in 1986 as a member
of The Missionary Society of St Thomas the Apostle, India (MST). He is
specialised in Theology as well as communications and has long period
of experience in teaching both theology and communications. Today he is
an international scholar and expert in communication theology with
several publications and conferences to his credit. Recently he has
embarked upon a dream project named IMPACT with an intention to do
research and training in communication culture and theologizing. His
specialization in both Fundamental Theology and Communications gives
him a unique advantage in the emerging field of communication theology.
Academic Degrees
- Doctorate in Theology with specialisation in fundamental theology from the Pontifical Gregorian University, Rome (1995)
- Diploma
(2 year) in Social Communication from the Interdisciplinary Centre for
Social Communication (CICS) at the Pontifical Gregorian University,
Rome. (1993)

- Dean
of Theology at Ruhalaya Seminary in Ujjain, India (1997-2004); he has
drawn up the theology programme of studies with a unique emphasis on
